Want to help end sexual violence? Interested in becoming a peer educator? Get training at City College.

The first step in joining City College’s peer education programs is taking Women’s Studies 55: Ending Sexual Violence. Our class starts on Tuesday, August 18th and meets once a week from 4:10-7:00 through December 18th. Project SURVIVE peer educators deliver presentations at City College of SF and Expect Respect SF peer educators present in San Francisco Unified 9th grade Health classes.

The peer educator is a paid position. In order to be paid, you will need to be enrolled for 6 units. You are also welcome to volunteer for the program. Once you get accepted to be a Project SURVIVE presenter, you may be interested in further training (only 8 hours) to go to the high schools in our Expect Respect SF program.

Fall Semester–WOMN 54 is Tuesdays 1:10-4 pm and WOMN 55 is Thursdays 4:10-7.
