At the “Learn to Write an Effective Personal Essay for College Applications” workshop, join Ruth Kirschner, local author, playwright and educator to learn strategies and tips for writing an effective and personal college essay. Ruth will provide guideline exercises that elicit ideas for your topic, ideas that can develop into a compelling story. She will share elements of great essays, organizational tips, as well as what NOT to write in a personal essay.
