TIPS for Finding Education

Tip 1: Students that pass the GED are considered to have equal educational standing with High School graduates. Individuals that are almost 18 or older, contact the local community college to find out about GED prep classes.

Tip 2: Some educational programs now offer out-of-school youth the opportunity to take the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) as an additional opportunity to earn their diploma. To learn more about the CAHSEE, visit: www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/hs/.
