Ready by 21 webinar shows what new federal proposal to align policies for disconnected youth mean for practitioners

In this recent webinar,  Kathy Stack of the White House Office of Management and Budget shared information about Performance Partnership Pilots for Disconnected Youth – a provision in President Obama’s 2013 budget proposal to allow selected states and communities to use money from different federal funding streams to pilot innovative approaches. Getting Out & Staying Out: A Guide to San Francisco Resources for People Leaving Jails and Prisons FY12/13 Edition is complete and is available at http://sfreentry.com/resource-guide. This link above always has the most up to date version available. If you, someone you know, or your organization could use bound hardcopy versions of the guide, please contact [email protected]. The Reentry Council would like to thank all of the organizations who completed the Reentry Council survey to make this guide possible. William T. Grant Foundation announces RFP for research project to better inform youth programs

The William T. Grant Foundation seeks to fund high-quality empirical research with the goal of improving the lives of youth between the ages of 8 and 25 in the United States. The purpose of the RFP is to help increase the understanding of how research evidence is acquired, interpreted, and used in policy and practice that affect youth.
