Gateway to College may be the alternative!
Gateway to College at City College of San Francisco allows 16-20 year-old students to earn credit towards their high school diploma and a college degree or certificate is now accepting applications for the Fall 2014 semester.
All interested applicants must attend one mandatory Information Session and complete the application packet. Please refer students who might be interested in this opportunity.

*All Info Sessions will be held at the CCSF Ocean Campus located at 50 Phelan Avenue in the Science Building located directly across the street from the student parking lot at the top of the stairs.

WHAT IS GATEWAY TO COLLEGE?
Gateway to College is a program at City College of San Francisco that serves students between 16-20, who have dropped out of high school in San Francisco or are behind in credits for their age and grade level. Students take courses earn credit towards their high school diploma and a college degree or certificate, at the same time.
Gateway to College is for students who:
- Are 16-20 years old
- Have dropped out of high school or behind in credits for their age or grade level
- Are able to pass a reading assessment
- Place at English 90 or above on CCSF’s English placement test
- Struggled with grades and attendance (below 2.0 gpa)
- Are ready and motivated to work towards their diploma and a college degree
