In this free 12-week training program, participants learn the history of computers, study hardware/ components, learn how to provide tech support and much more. Graduates of the program receive a $500 stipend, plus ongoing placement and retention services. This program is a vital entry point for low- and moderate-income young adults to access San Francisco’s technology sector, which experienced 57% growth over the last three years.

Requirements include:

1.       SF Resident

2.       Ages 17-24

3.       Willing to commit to complete program

4.       Pursue placement services after program or post-secondary education

The Mission Techies program will start Monday January 26th, 2015 and it runs on Mon, Tue and Thu from 1pm – 5pm.
