Core Functions of the AHWG: 1) Develop tools and trainings that increase youth/young adult’s ability to access and utilize health related services. 2) Increase youth/young adult health providers’ capacity to effectively serve youth. 2) Convene stakeholders and coordinate linkages across systems to improve information sharing, networking, and referrals for youth services. 3) Advocate for policies that increase access to health insurance and comprehensive care.
