Arriba Juntos Power Up Youth Program focuses on employment and educational goals. Clients participate in a youth friendly work readiness class, where they learn the essentials to successfully obtaining and keeping employment. Going over topics such as resume and cover letter writing, how to fill out job applications properly, job search techniques, teamwork, effective communication, and other life skills. While in Program, participants also perform active job search, leading to employment. Other services such as GED, Computer Training and Typing, are offered as well.
Participants also work with their Case Manager, who acts as their support system to help them overcome their barriers to employment such as providing resources and linkages to food and shelter programs, educational support,counseling, and clothing services. Languages spoken: English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Armenian, Tagalog, Samoan, French, Italian.
