Program Description

TechSF is San Francisco program to get underemployed/unemployed people working in the IT industry! We also offer job search assistance, resume review, interview workshops and more!

We are partnered with CCSF (network security, web app programming), AcademyX (IT helpdesk, web development bootcamp, Year Up (IT help desk, software), BAYCAT (film, graphic design), and BAVC (graphic design, web design, video production)

For those that qualify for training, all the costs will be covered! That’s between $400 to $10000 worth of training that’s FREE for you!

Must be 18+, high school diploma or GED, registered for selective service (males only) and eligible to work in U.S., and ready to work!!!

Enrollment Information

Wait Time for Service: Dependent training selected. No more than 1 month.
Admissions Process: Application (competitive admissions with set deadlines and program start dates)
Enrollment Details: For training: Complete application at bavc.org/fuse. Return the requested documents in completion. Phone interview with a counselor. For tech training, one must pass the assessments with 70% or higher. If provisionally accepted by counselor, one must fill out paperwork at BAVC for the City of San Francisco to ensure eligibility (verify income level, eligibility to work, etc). If accepted by the City, then accepted into the training program. For job services only: Complete same application above, return same assignments. During counselor phone interview, indicate that one does not want training but just job search support.
