The Hearing and Speech Center is pleased to announce to be part of the OEWD’s Disability Employment Initiative and a new community Neighborhood Access Point: Career Steps Program San Francisco.
Under the Disability Employment Initiative we are launching The Career Steps Program. The Career Steps Program is a free comprehensive pre-employment training accessible to Deaf and hard-of-hearing San Francisco residents ages 18 and older.
Paola Tello, Employment Specialist Lead will be facilitating comprehensive 5 Week pre-employment training workshops throughout the year focusing on job preparation and professional development as well as providing one on one job development support to Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing job ready individuals.
The next upcoming series of workshops beginThursday, November 7th 2013.
