San Francisco Safe House is a 18 month transitional housing program for homeless women in San Francisco ages 18 and up who have a history of prostitution. We house up to 10 women.
Admissions Process: Open Enrollment (noncompetitive
Enrollment Details: Women wanting help calls to do a phone screen. As her name moves up on the list a longer phone interview will be completed. Finally, when she is next on the list, she will be called in for an interview in person. She need not have a source of income to enter our program, but she must be 30 days sober, not be employed and not have a car. Someone less than 30 day sober from drugs and alcohol or unable to walk up 2 flights of stairs may be ineligible.
