Are you a young person struggling to make ends meet or get through one more year of college? Are you passionate about information technology but unsure how to translate your interest into a career?

Year Up can prepare you for and connect you to a well-paying information technology career. Opportunities are plentiful in the Bay Area for young adults with skills, experience, and support- and that’s exactly what Year Up offers.

Year Up is a free, year-long training and corporate internship program that pays young adults to participate in it. 87% of Year Up Bay Area’s most recent graduates are working, and they are making $19.53 an hour on average. They are joined by nearly 4,000 Year Up graduates across the country who have achieved lasting change as a result of graduating from Year Up.

Year Up is currently recruiting for students for its September 2013 class at both its San Francisco and San Jose campus. Seats are filling fast. An evaluation funded by the federal government is being conducted to determine how Year Up helps people increase their skills and find jobs. There will be more applicants than spaces available in this program. Individuals who are eligible for the program and agree to participate in the study will be accepted into the program by lottery.
