For Young Parents: First 5 Family Resource Centers

Throughout San Francisco County, Family Resource Centers (FRCs) are available to serve you and your family. Regardless of age, income, sexual orientation, gender, or disability, FRCs are open to everyone. Currently, 25 centers are jointly funded by First 5 San Francisco, the Department of Children Youth, and their Families, and the Human Services Agency.

La Cultura Cura provides after-school programming activities, case management/advocacy, and Mental Health Services in an effort to provide a healthy environment where young people feel supported and empowered while they participate in culturally relevant structured activities.

Justice-Involved and Reentry Young Adults: people with past or present involvement with the justice system.

Former Foster Youth: people with past or present involvement in foster care system.

HIV+ Young Adults: people with AIDS or are HIV+.

Homeless Young Adults: people with past or present experience of homelessness, couch-surfing.

Immigrant Young Adults: people who are foreign-born or from families of immigrants, or are undocumented.

LGBTQQ Young Adults: people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning.

Young Adults with Disabilities: people with a physical, behavioral, or mental disability.

Young Parents: people who are pregnant or raising a child.

Young Veterans: people with past or present military service.
