The Youth Empowerment Fund is looking for youth ages 14-20 to be a part of YEF Advisory Board. See flyer.
As program participants and leaders, youth have had the opportunity to be impacted by exceptional youth programming and YEC wants them to bring that experience to funding other youth programs!
The position requires:
- 1 academic year commitment (August-June) of up to 12 hours per month
- youth live or go to school in SF
- experience in working at a community organization, program or event as a youth participant or volunteer
- limited extra-curricular activities for the 2014-2015 academic year
YEF Board Members:
- Learn about foundations, grants and San Francisco community organizations
- Decide how to fund and support youth-led projects
- Receive a monthly stipend
Applications are due next Friday, May 16th by Midnight.
