Young Minds is looking for a Communications Intern to assist in furthering our mission through strategic communications and collaborations. Interns will help to educate and engage youth mental health stakeholders and others through social media, blogging, outreach, strategic campaigns, collaborative projects, and events.
This position is a great opportunity for a self-motivated go-getter to be an integral part of developing and implementing communication campaigns and strategies that will substantially impact the lives of thousands of youth and their families. If you are interested in advocating for young people who have limited power or voice—this is a unique opportunity for you to gain experience that will set you apart from your peers.
The Communications Intern will work closely with the Director of Communications at a co-working space in the SOMA District of San Francisco. The work schedule for this position is flexible and there may be opportunities to work independently from home. Applicants should be prepared to work 10-15 hours a week, or more. This is an unpaid internship with a potential for growth over time.
