Are you a 207youth who enjoys working outdoors, working with kids, and motivated to learn new job skills? The BEETS program is hiring for fall interns!  This internship will allow youth to learn how to grow healthy food, work with a diverse group of teens and positively impact the community.

               BEETS interns:

  • Maintain community and school gardens in the Western Addition
  • Learn critical job skills (resume/cover letter writing, job search, interviewing, etc.)
  • Assist our elementary school garden classes
  • Attend field trips and educational opportunities
  • Earn ~$1074/session (depending on hours worked)


  • • 15-19 years old on Feb 2, 2016
  • • Currently living in San Francisco, with priority to Western Addition residents
  • • Ability to attend all work shifts between Feb 2, 2016 – April 28, 2016
  • • Positive work ethic and motivation to succeed
  • • Legally employable in the United States
