The San Francisco Department of Public Works(DPW) will convene an Open House to educate San Francisco youth (ages 16-20) about career opportunities through apprenticeships with DPW and to connect them with some exciting apprenticeship opportunities in the trades.
This three-hour program will feature engaging presentations and fun activities regarding the various apprenticeships available through DPW and trade unions, and students will have the ability to speak first-hand with union members and representatives about their apprenticeship programs. Drinks and refreshments will be available during the event.
